In pools or spas the Aqaclear device is installed directly into the filtration system. In this case, a sediment filter is usually unnecessary, since the pool or spa filter will do that function. Pressure regulation is normally also not necessary in these cases.

Aqaclear should be installed directly in the main water supply line. It is recommended to install a sediment filter with a 50-micron cartridge and also a pressure regulator if the water pressure exceeds 4 bar.
